Testing with IBM Rational Integration Tester V8.6

Overview

This course shows how to use Rational Integration Tester and Rational Performance Test Server for integration and performance testing. It shows students how to test more complex systems, where multiple technologies may be involved, and demonstrates the use of the set of test actions that can be used within Rational Integration Tester. Students will also see how to use external data sources, how to review and update their tests, and learn how to use test automation to its full potential. Additional modules include the use of Rational Performance Test Server to turn these integration tests into performance tests and analyse the performance of the system under test.

Prerequisits

You should have:

• Completed Essentials of IBM Rational Integration Tester V8.6 (RT561G - no longer available)
• Knowledge of middleware (eg WebSphere MQ, web services) and XML
• Knowledge of software testing techniques and methodology (helpful)
